Dear Parents, it is our food services policy that during May and June, we no longer allow students to fall into the negative and continue to receive a full meal.  If your student does not have sufficient funds in their account to cover the amount of the day's meal ($2.75 for lunch) they will be provided an alternative meal consisting of crackers, white milk and a trip through the salad bar to hold them over until the end of the day.  They will also be given the opportunity to call home to have funds added to their account to purchase a meal for that day or following days. All balances remaining on your child's account will be carried over to the following school year unless you wish to receive a refund.  We will be working with your child's teacher as well as administration to inform you of your students account balance prior to being in the negative.

This Friday, May 26th, we will be having our Memorial Mile and school BBQ.  The Memorial Mile will begin at 9am on the field.  All parents are welcome to come watch this fun event!  We will also have a school BBQ that you may attend with your student.  Please come at your student’s lunch time and share a yummy lunch of hotdogs, chips, cookies, watermelon and salad bar.  The cost for ALL non-students is $4.00.  Your student’s cost is $2.75.  You may use your student’s lunch account if the account has money in it.  If not, please feel free to pay by check or with cash.

PS.  Parents- please note that our playground equipment is rated for school age children, so if you are bringing younger siblings to watch the event, the siblings are not allowed on the playground equipment during the event or at recess time.

We look forward to having a fun day with all the families here at Brentwood El!

We have a new lost & found area outside of our office door along the wall.  It is a clothes rack with baskets for miscellaneous.  The MPR will no longer have a box to deposit items.  Each break and each summer,  all items will be cleaned out and donated.

Please pick-up any medication you may have at school.  It will be discarded during the summer.  Each year a new "Medication at School" is required from the doctor and new medication.  Thank you!

Enrollment for the next year begins 4/4/2017 - please visit your boundary school for registration.

If you are planning to move over the summer, or are enrolling your student in another school, please let us know.  This helps us prepare and forward your child’s records, enabling his/her smooth transition.  Thank you so much for your help.  If you have any questions, please call your child’s school or the Brentwood Union School District Office at 513-6300.

The school office will be closed for summer vacation starting at noon on 6/14/2017!
